Media Questioned About Christian Persecution Coverage

According to Open Doors – a global ministry serving persecuted Christians – 11 followers of Christ die for their faith every day. Christians should stay informed and stand up for their fellow believers.

There are calls for media outlets to be held to account for their lack of coverage of Christian persecution.

According to Open Doors – a global ministry serving persecuted Christians – 11 followers of Christ die for their faith every day.

Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List says every month, 255 Christians are killed, 104 are abducted, and almost 70 churches are attacked.

The organisation’s David Curry has told Mission Network News, these numbers just reflect the Christians we know about, while others are unaccounted for.

David Curry is the president and CEO at Open Doors USA,  thrives to be a global advocate for persecuted Christians that works in the most restrictive and oppressive countries for Christians.

Mr Curry is questioning:

Why the media are not covering Christian persecution to the extent that it’s happening, and whether attacks on Christians are being prejudicially overlooked.

He’s urging Christians to stay informed and stand up for their fellow believers.
