On Twitter, Mark Russell — who co-created the series with artist Richard Pace — revealed that he “asked for the rights back and they [DC Comics] gracefully agreed”. He hopes the series will “still be released, albeit with a different publisher”.

The series, which was intended to run monthly starting March 6, had been targeted by CitizenGo’s petition, triggered by an S4C article published on January 9, 2019.

The petition has been signed by almost 230 000 people.
