A boulder commemorating John Paul II was vandalised in Warsaw

A boulder commemorating John Paul II was devastated in the Polish capital, Warsaw.

The councilor of the Ursynów district, Mateusz Rojewski (PiS), informed about the case on Saturday in social media. “The case was reported to the police,” he underlined.

The inscription “pedophile” was smeared on the commemorative rocko.

“This is an unacceptable act of vandalism and hatred that cannot be accepted. As the PiS Councilors’ Club, we will intervene with the mayor of the district in order to remove this inscription as soon as possible,” Rojewski commented on social media.
