A Christian woman was attacked by her own children in Central Asia
In Central Asia, it is a common occurrence that Christians are persecuted for their faith by their own relatives. The Christian woman, Chalpona, whose own children attacked her, is also one of the victims of this kind of persecution.
Chalpona is the only Christian in her family, and she was attacked and beaten by her adult sons in her own house. Both men work in the government of the country, and they were worried about their position. They forced their mother to renounce her Christian religion and stop spreading the Gospel. After beating the woman, they smashed some of the furniture and left the house.
Since Islam is spreading in Central Asia, Christians’ lives are going from bad to worse, especially for ex-Muslim Christians.
