Multiple Christians killed in DRC terrorist attacks

The Islamic State Central Africa Province terrorist organization carried out several attacks against Christians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the series of attacks, more than 10 Christians were killed by the members of the terrorist organization.
At the end of September, the Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) carried out several terrorist attacks in the north-eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. On September 22, the Islamists killed eight people in two attacks in Lubero, Northern Kivu Province, DRC. ISCAP announced and boasted about the attacks and killings of Christians on its social media.
“The soldiers of the Caliphate attacked the Christian village of Bandolo in the Lubero region and slaughtered five Christians, praise be to God.”
ISCAP fighters also attacked a post of the DRC military and a nearby village, Medidi, killing three Christians and setting buildings ablaze. In the province of Ituri, bordering Northern Kivu, Islamists captured and killed a Christian and ambushed a smaller group, killing one and wounding two more of them. In the north-eastern DRC alone, ISCAP fighters have killed more than 5,500 Christians since 2017.
