According to the official program, which the Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference shared, the Pontiff will meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President Katalin Novák in Budapest along with the members of the diplomatic corps and the representatives of the Catholic Church on the first day of his visit.

On the morning of the 29th of April, he will meet the poor and refugees at the St. Elizabeth Parish Church of Arpad House in Budapest. In the afternoon, he will greet the youth at Budapest Sports Arena.

On the last day of his visit, Pope Francis will celebrate a Mass at Kossuth Square in front of the Hungarian Parliament.

He will travel back to Rome on the 30th of April in the late afternoon.
