Tristan Azbej inaugurated a renovated monastery in Lebanon

The monastery, originally built in the 17th century, was renovated with the financial aid of Hungary Helps.

Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program travelled to Lebanon, to hold a speech on the inauguration ceremony of the church monastery in Aintoura, renovated with the support of the Hungarians.

Besides Tristan Azbej, Bechara Boutros Raï Maronite Patriarch also gave a speech on the inauguration ceremony of the Philokalia training centre and community place. In his speech, the Hungarian State Secretary expressed his hope that the renovated church and convent would serve the local Christian community.
