Church vandalised in Martinique

A church in Schoelcher, in Martinique, was vandalised on the night of the 18th of December.
The church was scrawled with phrases denouncing the role of the Christian religion in the era of colonisation and slavery.
This was not the first time that a church was vandalised in Martinique. Earlier this year, in June, the church of Trois-Ilets was also damaged.
The parish priest of the church in Schoelcher has filed a complaint, and the police have opened an investigation into the case.
