A group of Christians was attacked with tear gas in France

On Sunday, June 30, a troubling incident occurred during a church service in Dijon. Around 11:00 a.m., during the Seventh-Day Adventist service attended by about a hundred worshippers, an unidentified individual entered and sprayed tear gas into the crowd.

Emergency services arrived to treat the injured and secure the area, while local authorities promptly launched an investigation. The National Council of Evangelicals of France (CNEF) reacted strongly, expressing solidarity with the affected community.

The CNEF emphasized the importance of freedom of worship and condemned any violence against places of worship and worshippers.

This event also highlights concerns about the security of religious sites and underscores the need to promote religious tolerance.
