Man sentenced for a series of arson attacks including a church in France
On June 5, political refugee Fataharhman Awad Allah Abdalkrem was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a series of arson attacks in Pau (France) between March and May 2022.
He set fire to the sacristy of the Saint-Pierre Church, stealing a cash box containing 300 euros and a computer. Additionally, he set fire to cars, 16 apartments, and other buildings in the neighborhood, endangering numerous lives.
The only explanation provided by the Sudanese migrant was that he was under the influence of alcohol.
