Priest kidnapped in Nigeria
A priest was kidnapped in Nigeria after he celebrated a funeral mass.
“We announce with choc but also with a strong faith in God’s love and protection to the priests, religious, lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Onitsha and to all men and women of goodwill, the kidnapping of our priest, Reverend Father Joseph Igweagu, parish priest of St Joseph, Abata, Nsugbe.”
Joseph Igweagu, the parish priest of St. Joseph Parish, was abducted on the 12th of October in Umunnachi, Anambra State, southeastern Nigeria.
