Gang of church robbers arrested in France

A gang of burglars has been arrested in the French town of Sarre after a series of church robberies. This Sunday, in the early morning, three men and two women broke into the church of Saint-Ingbert, ransacked part of the place, and tried to steal money and food.

Thanks to several witnesses, the police intervened and were able to arrest the two women. Investigators were able to conclude that it was a gang that could be attributed to a series of burglaries in churches.

Searches of the perpetrators have made it possible to get their hands on various stolen objects, including a gold chalice worth several thousand euros.
