Vandal cut a roadside cross with a saw in Poland
The desecration took place on Monday and was most likely committed by a resident of the city of Zielona Góra (Western Poland) who recorded his act of vandalism and posted the video on the Internet.
Arkadiusz Dąbrowski, secretary of the Polish People’s Party in the region, emphasized that the perpetrator must be caught and severely punished.
“This is an unprecedented act of vandalism. We should respect religious symbols in our country. After all, Christianity has the largest group of followers. I don’t understand this behavior. There should be no tolerance for such behavior,” he stated.
The latter story shows that attacks on Caatholic symbols become commonplace in the country of St. John Paul II.
