Man given gun to “go and kill Christians” in Nigeria

According to Daily Post Nigeria, police have arrested 27-year-old Sanusi Lauwali for the alleged involvement of various criminal activity in Nigeria’s Plateau State.

Following his arrest, Lauwali confessed to killing “at least five people,” and said that after any sort of crisis in Plateau state, his boss would send him “to go kill Christians.”

“It is our boss that gives us the guns,” he said, “I live in Tunga village outside Jos, but anytime there is a crisis, he will send us to the place to go and kill Christians. I ran away and went back to my hometown in Ningi, for about one year now”.

“It was when I went back that they informed security agents who arrested me; although I know I am guilty of what they are accusing me of.”

Nigeria has long suffered at the hands of violent militants, especially in its Middle Belt region where jihadists have killed tens of thousands and displaced millions over the past decade.
