The first international Congress United for Life to be organised in Colombia
As part of the 15th anniversary of the "National March for Life" in Colombia, the city platform "United for Life" will hold the first International Congress United for Life on 1 May, whose objective is to "strengthen the defence of life in the various areas of pro-life work".
In the statement sent to Fides, the organizers underline that “the defence of life is obtaining good results in many countries” and that more and more nations are adopting “laws and policies for the defence and promotion of life, from the moment of conception to natural death”. From 2 to 6 in the afternoon, thematic panels will be developed with the participation of different specialists, each participant will be able to choose the one that interests them.
Speakers include Katarzyna Gosiak, director of the Polish Ordo Iuris Institute; Congressman Tomás José Zambrano, from the Congress of Honduras; the Spanish deputy Lourdes Monasterio España; and the Secretary of the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights of Brazil, Angela Vidal Granda da Silva Martins.
