A Protestant church has been destroyed by Pakistani authorities
A Protestant church in the Musharraf colony in Karachi was destroyed on the 31st of March by the Capital Development Authority, a Pakistani public agency, along with law enforcement agents.
Pastor Naveed John Georges said that “the CDA has not only hurt their religious feelings, but has reminded them that as Christians they have no respect and no rights in Pakistan.”
The district has three other Protestant churches and between three and four hundred poor Christian families. The parish plans to file a complaint for assault and desecration.
