Hungary Helps Program praised on the world’s largest Christian TV network
Hungary Helps Program was presented on the world's greatest Christian television. Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program, also said some words in the show about the program.
The Hungary Helps Program was presented in the news of the world’s biggest Christian media network, EWTN. In the American channel’s broadcast, Tristan Azben declared that Hungary is a donor country in humanitarian aid work. The country is especially committed to supporting persecuted Christians and members of other persecuted religions in the world.
He pointed out that there are anti-Christian movements that try to deny the existence of Christian persecution and the fact that Christianity is the most persecuted religion on Earth. He highlighted that Christian communities deserve any kind of help from the Western world.
In connection with Pope Francis’s visit to Iraq, he said that it would have historical importance. Recently, the Christians of Iraq had to face many difficulties, and they are feeling left alone by the “Christian West”.
In the broadcast, they also mentioned Hungary Helps ongoing projects in Africa and the Middle-East.
