A church was almost set ablaze by three vandals in Northern Italy

Last Wednesday night, three unidentified young people tried to set fire to the church of the Madonna delle Grazie. The boys wore purple sweatshirts and had their faces covered.

The three men acted by taking advantage of the curfew. The streets of the town were, in fact, deserted, and the group of vandals was thus able to move undisturbed. Once they approached the building located inside the Vallata district, the three tried to set it on fire.

They were later noticed by some local residents, who immediately notified the police of the Piedimonte station. The authorities prevented the church from being set on fire.
