Rohingya Christians are being harassed in refugee camps

Rohingya Christians are persecuted both ethnically and for their religion. In 2017, Rohingyas were forced to leave Myanmar, and now, in the refugee camps, in Bangladesh, Christians are harassed by other Rohingyas for their faith.

The Rohingyas are mainly Muslims, but there are also some Christians in the tribe. The other refugees harass these Christians, and as they are living together in refugee camps, they have no chance to escape persecution.

The  Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) for example, carries out attacks in the camps against the Christians.

“We have been living together with Muslims for years, but ARSA is carrying out attacks against us nearly every day, especially on Sundays, during our worship. The Muslim Rohingyas discriminate [against] us because we are Christians”, said Saiful Peter, one of the two-thousand Christians, living in a refugee camp in Southeast Bangladesh.
