Four stations of the cross were stolen from a church in Paris
Two stations of the cross in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in the 12th district of Paris were stolen on the 23rd of July, and some days later two other stations disappeared. Two candles were also stolen from the altar.
The parish priest of the church, Étienne Givelet removed the remaining ten stations to protect them from further vandalism.
The stations were made in the 19th century when the church was originally opened. Obviously, the faithful were shocked when they heard about the theft.
Fr Étienne Givelet declared that fortunately there were no other signs of desecration in the church.
