Sweden: Lutheran church set on fire in Uppsala

The Gottsunda Lutheran Church in Uppsala has been subjected to a fire during the night between 24 ands 25 February, 2020. Despite not having arrested any suspect, the local police stated that it is likely that is was a criminal act.
The fire started in the rear part of this wooden church. It was a police patrol that witnessed the fire during a routine patrol, the rising flames being several meters high. Unable to overcome it, they called the firefighters who intervened.
If the outside fire was able to be extinguished, it has partly spread inside the church. There were no injuries. The police are investigating: several people were interrogated but no suspect was arrested until now.
