Abortion industry continues to prosper in Great Bitain
Statistics about abortion in Great Britain are alarming. According to official data from the Department of Health, over 8.6 million abortions occurred in England and Wales between 1968 and 2018.
In Great Britain, abortion is generally allowed for socio-economic reasons during the first twenty-four weeks of the pregnancy (the highest such limit in the EU, together with the Netherlands), and beyond for medical reasons.
According to the leading British pro-life organization: Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC), the abortion network Marie Stopes International has received support of 44 million pounds from the Department of International Development over the past five years.
Thanks to this cooperation, the company recorded a record profit of nearly 297 million pounds.
The authorities shut down one of the leading British abortion centers run by Marie Stopes International. Two years ago, the “Clinic” in Birmingham was the fourth largest center of this type in Great Britain, with over 6,000 abortions carried out in 2018 alone.
