Hungary has been helping persecuted Middle East Christians return home, reveals foreign minister

Péter Szijjártó, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, told a conference focusing on the victims of ethnic and religious conflicts in Brussels that Hungary’s policies will help persecuted Christians return to their homelands in the Middle East.

Hungary has been helping persecuted Middle East Christians return home, the foreign minister has revealed.

Péter Szijjártó, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, told a conference focusing on the victims of ethnic and religious conflicts in Brussels that Hungary’s policies will help persecuted Christians return to their homelands in the Middle East.

The minister said Hungary will carry on with its Middle East program, under which the government has so far allocated over 3 billion HUF (9.5 million EUR) for building schools, renewing hospitals, and providing scholarships to young Christians in the region.

Minister Szijjártó warned that if efforts to encourage locals to return to their homes fail, the abandoned areas could again be occupied by the Islamic State terrorist organization.

The minister added that the international community’s support for Christians to return to their homelands is pivotal for the security of the region as well as for security in Europe. He also urged “security and financial guarantees” to facilitate stabilization.

According to MTI, the minister said Hungary strives to promote peace in the Middle East, but it requires a two-state solution based on Israel and the Palestinian state, achieved through peaceful negotiations.

Hungary supports any international measures to that end but will reject “moves aimed at generating hysteria”. He also criticized the European Union for “acting as a judge and creating tension” in connection with issues around the United States relocating its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“It is not right nor does it have any purpose if the EU passes a patronizing opinion on each and every international issue,” the minister insisted. “Statements that can generate hysteria do not contribute to a solution but further deepen existing divisions,” he added.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Daniel, living in
Bangkok, Thailand, from 5 and a half years. I hold a Pakistani Nationality and
currently am under the status of an asylum seeker. I and my wife (Pushpa
Daniel) are living here with our 4 children. Daniela, Shanessa, Aaron,
Anaiah – ages ranging from 3 to 9+.
The reason for fled from Pakistan to Thailand was the rivalry of my fellow work
members. I being an auto mechanic, owned a personal workshop in Pakistan.
My workshop, by the grace of God, had a rather efficient income and was
much more reliable and in demand amongst the customers. I was the only
Christian owner, the rest of them being Muslims were highly jealous of my
    excelling business.
My neighboring mechanic shop was owned by Muslims. Mr. Butt – out of
jealousy, accused me of stealing goods worth of two hundred thousand
rupees. I was arrested and fiscally tortured in jail without any official
FIR being written on me. Anyhow, I was released from jail because of the
high court granting be justice. The police officers were suspended and
transferred to another city. However, the 10 years went by peacefully, but
it was recently that the police officers transferred back and tried
accusing me of blasphemy. Back then, when I was accused of stealing, I was
a bachelor. But now that I am the father of 3 children and forth one is on
his way I’m scared. I can’t risk their lives. So I’ve moved to Thailand.

( Detailed story is attached below )

In June 2015 I give my second interview to UNHCR for Refugee
status but now they refused us we don’t understand why. The reason that they give us is the man who accused me in blasphemy only one time he tries to kill me. The life in Bangkok is not easy as we become illegal immigrants and as Thailand is not the signatory of United nation so it doesn’t have any framework for Asylum Seeker or
Refuges we are in big trouble by facing no legal income, no education for
the children, no Medical facility and above all fear of arrest and Jailed
    by Immigration Police.

My humble request is that please take us from here. Is any miracle happen in our life’s.

    May God blessed you

    Daniel and family.
